Isaac is one month old today!! Time has flown by.
We were trying to get a picture of him on the sofa by himself, but daddy had to help because this is what kept happening...
Going, GOING....
almost gone...don't worry we caught him :)
We celebrated with Momo and Grandpa. AND we actually got Momo to smile, but she wasn't looking at the camera...
We also celebrated with trying out a new toy
We like it for about 10 minutes and then we want NOTHING to do with it.
What we have learned in one month:
- Isaac loves to be held. He is a regular snuggle bunny. Just what mommy wanted :)
- He loves to be swaddled and bundled up, but isn't quite so sure about his Halo sleep sack.
- He loves music. Not to particular on what kind yet. Whether it be the radio, his toys, or just mommy and daddy singing to him, he LOVES it. We like to sing him Christmas songs because these are the songs we actually know all the words to. :)
- He is brilliant. He is always looking around and examining the world. From minute one, he has been super alert. He has also hit some developmental milestones way earlier than babies are supposed to. (smartest baby alive!) He was lifting his head up within hours of being born, and he started social smiling at 4 weeks. :)
- He is a super pooper. Watch out, he takes after his daddy on this one. He poops nonstop. Almost every diaper change is bound to have poop. If it doesn't at the time of changing, it will 10 minutes later. GUARANTEED.
- He is the hiccup king. He would gladly relinquish this title though, seeing as he hates them.
- He loves his zebra binky the most.
- He loves his hands. He is always holding them. It's really sweet.
I could go on forever! He is the joy of our lives! We love him so very much, and are so very thankful for him. He has been such a blessing. Parenting is trying, but it is the most rewarding experience to date. Just one little smirk from this guy makes my heart fly.
