Look what he can do!!

I tried posting this before we left for Vegas, but for some reason Blogger wouldn't let me upload the video. :/ Better late than never??

So, this is a change for most of you Michigan and Kentucky folks(and maybe even some Houston)! He wasn't able to do this the last time you saw him.

He walks hand in hand. How sweet!! He is such a BIG kid!!

He has taken a bunch of steps in a row. He loves walking over to you and falling into your arms. The falling, not the walking, is his favorite part. He is perfectly capable of walking, but has absolutely no desire to. That lack of desire is being fueled by everyone else's desire for him to walk. The more we push him to do it, the more of a game it becomes to him. He will stand up for the most part when you tell him to, but the moment you mention walking he will fall forward(onto all 4's and laugh) on purpose. We are not in any rush for him to start running aroud here. It is kind of frustrating though, to know that your kid can do something, but he just flat out refuses to. I don't know how a 15 month old can be such a stubborn old mule. So unfortunately, we haven't been able to capture any of these steps on video yet. But trust that when we do, you'll be the first to see.  ;)

Little Walker!

Only because he wanted to :)

I know it's called "Sin City", but we found so many little pieces of Heaven here...

Delicious. We visited here every day per Dan's request.

Our first visit to Serendipity. Sitting outside, overlooking the strip. Enjoying amazing food and dessert!! :)

Our first time ordering Deep fried Oreo's and Ice Cream, and not our last...

So delicious, I can't even put into words!

They are known for their frozen hot chocolate. So I had to try it. It was delicious, but the Oreo dessert was TO. DIE. FOR.

YUM!

Day 2. Getting ready to explore the strip!! AND already really REALLY missing baby boy. :(

Our view from the Venetian.

Our lovely hotel where we stayed!

The Venetian offers Gondola rides that take you all the way inside and outside the hotel. They were quite charming. You could hear Italian music being sung everywhere you went!

This couple was getting married!! I cried, of course. If you know me at all this comes as no surprise to you.

We're so cute! :D

Performance inside the Venetian.

Part of Serendipity's menu. You can get a closer peek at some of the desserts we inhaled enjoyed.

Serendipity is super cute inside!

Day two. More desserts.

Deep fried Oreo's was so good, we ordered it again. I insisted this dessert would be enough for us to share.

If you know my husband at all, you know that he insisted otherwise. Thusly, we ordered the Lookie Lookie Gimme Cookie Sundae.

Take. It. All. In.

Bellagio fountains. Just as beautiful every time we see them. Unfortunately, we just caught the end of this show. :(

Inside Ceaser's Palace. This is just the view going up the escalator. Ridiculous!

Dinner at Diego's in the MGM Grand

It was amazing

Amazingly delicious...

Waiting to see KA; Cirque De Solei

Getting ready to hit the Roulette table after our night out on the town!

We love each other

By far, the best stop of the trip for me. A hidden gem in Vegas. Found inside Imperial Palace.

Excited after ordering our food!!  :)

Dan's Mammoth Stuffed Burger!

My Sage Fried Chicken and Waffles.

In the very same casino, they have this fantastic idea. They have celebrity look a likes that perform, and DEAL you Black Jack, or Roulette, or whatever your little heart desires.

I think this is brilliant! I LOVED it, and I never wanted to leave.

"Madonna"

Last night in Vegas!!!

We flew out on Monday, but had more than enough time for one more trip to Hash House A Go Go. Thank Goodness. I got the same meal, because it is now equally my favorite meal, next to Thanksgiving of course.

Dan got a meal that was featured on Man Vs. Food. Which is pretty awesome. These two meals are the best picks on the menu, so we were told by the wait staff. I think they know their stuff.

He loved every bite.

And we loved every minute. It was well needed. We savored the time together as "just" a couple. We love being Mommy and Daddy so much, but it is SO important to remember why we decided to go on this adventure together. Because we love each other. We like each other even. A whole lot. We were thankful for the time to remember that, and to enjoy spending time with our best friend. :)

We missed that bean so much, and hurried back home just as fast as we could! We are thankful that Momo took the time off of work to watch our love. Otherwise this little trip might not have happened.

Now we are back home, and already back at work. Sigh. Time flies when you are having fun!
