Today...

Today is just like any other day, except for the fact that we are 6 WEEKS OLD!! Where does the time go? I spent a lot of time today just staring at my son. I realize each and every day what a blessing he is. I am so very thankful to God for him. Each day is a gift. I have waited for this for my whole life. I have to keep pinching myself because I can't believe it is finally here. Dan and I have wondered for 12 years what our son would look like, and here he is. Just like that. It seems like I woke up and 12 years have gone by, and now I have a family. I still can't believe that he is ours. He is too beautiful for words. Everything about him is just perfect. I can't believe God gave us such a perfect little boy. He is the spitting image of his daddy, but with his mommy's body. :) Such a funny combo so far. I can't wait for all of his milestones, but at the same time, it makes me cry to think that one day he won't be a baby anymore. I cherish this time with him. He is so very precious. I am so very, very thankful.

Ma'am loves him so much. She takes every opportunity she can to be right by him. :)
