2 Month Pedi Appointment

We had our 2 month Pedi Appointment today. Isaac did wonderfully! He weighed in at an even 11 pounds and measured 24 inches long. He is in the 90th percentile for length. So he is a very long boy, as well we already knew. He stared at momma almost the entire time the Pedi checked him. He was smiling and cooing, and just generally happy.

The Pedi commented on how surprised she was at how verbal he is. She said most all the boys she see's are very quiet, and don't normally talk to her. She was quite skeptical that he actually said his first word, and unfortunately for us, we didn't have the video on hand to prove her wrong. She said he would have to be very developmentally advanced to be able to do so at such a young age. Roughly translated: smartest baby alive! She also commented on how much Isaac loves his momma. :P No arguments there.

Overall he got a clean bill of health. She said he looks perfect. :D He received his 2 month immunizations. :( Which I believe, were harder on momma than on Isaac. He had a bit of a delayed response with the first injection, but he was well aware, bright red and pouting by the time the second one hit. But to our surprise, his crying only lasted about 10 seconds and then he drifted off to sleep. :)

All in all, a very good day.
