Playing with Mommy
Yup. He is definitely my child.
Pointing out eyes.
Some of our favorite activities these days include, but are not limited to:
Being cozy <3
Shaking things. Yes. That is usually the face that he makes when he "shakes".
Playing with the floor fan in Mommy and Daddy's room.
Trying to open doors.
Just some things for me to remember for documentation purposes... Isaac is pretty awesome. Well, I won't forget that! He is super energetic. Always wanting to play and crawl around. No, he isn't walking yet. It seems that is everyones question these days. He is perfectly capable of doing so, but has absolutely no interest in it. Which is fine by me. :) He was the exact same way with crawling. When he's finally confident enough to take those first couple of steps, he will. But for now, he's a speed crawler. He has 13 teeth, and loves to use 'em! He has been and still remains an amazing eater. I don't know where he puts all this food. He is SO skinny! He doesn't get chunkier, just longer. As you can see above, he is super tall. So much so, that people are always surprised how young he is. His length makes him look so much bigger than he is. That sounds funny. But you know what I mean. He still bites, but never hard. I think that's because I never gave him a good reaction to it. So he will gnaw on you, but nothing too painful. He is still drooling everywhere constantly. But he still has more teeth to go, so I don't imagine that stopping anytime soon. It's awesome to see his little personality develop. He is funny, always trying to make you laugh. He does silly things on purpose to get you to crack up. If he hears or sees anyone laughing, he starts laughing too! It's contagious. ;) He has a bit of a temper. He tries to throw some tantrums every now and again, but mommy and daddy don't much stand for that type of behavior. So hopefully we nip that in the bud here quick. Although he can be quick to anger, which is entirely typical for his age, he will charm the pants off of you with how sweet he is. He gives kisses all the time, and asks to be held, loves being snuggled. It's the best thing in the whole world. <3 He is cruising across furniture like crazy. He is crawling/climbing all over everything. He knows what it means when you tell him no, but tries it anyway. Original sin at it's best people. He is trying out a lot more words lately. So far we know: Mama, Dada, Poo, Ooooh, Whoa, Coo (Cool), Ca (Car, and sometimes Cow) and today he said Uh Oh! He is babbling all the time, making tons of noises. And he just recently really started mimicking a lot.
It's amazing to watch him grow, and learn. What a great gift this is. I am forever grateful to God.

He is so stinkin' cute!! I'm looking forward to hanging out with him! Maybe I can teach him a new word! My name is pretty easy to say! ;)
ReplyDeleteThat's true! My mom got him to say grandma, but she repeated it a thousand times a day for 3 weeks. Maybe if you say, "Amy" every second you'll have a chance? JK! He's a fast learner, but stubborn!! So excited that Isaac gets so spend time with his awesome Aunt Amy!!
