Houston has a Polish festival! Who woulda thought? We decided to explore our Polish ancestry and head downtown to check it out. We had a blast!

The bounce house was a hit as well, of course!
We were so thankful for this little boy, who we didn't know. He took to Isaac, and helped him on all the animals! How sweet is that? It was just an added bonus that he happened to look like Corey Feldman in Stand By Me; imgres
We threw quite the fit getting out of the bounce house, so naturally we got a snow cone to ease the pain.
Naturally he dumped it all over himself. All worth it though! This will definitely be an annual trip for us, you should check it out too!

ReplyDeleteAbsolutely, we are a very INclusive bunch. But I must say the majority of people there were 100% Polish and completely fluent. It was awesome.
ReplyDeleteNext year I hope we can all go to this and the Greek festival. We should head to Polonia's and get all the fresh Polish food we want now, even Paczkis when it's not Fat Tuesday!!! They have all kinds of home made foods, sausages and desserts and a restaurant as well inside.
