We had our 6 month Pedi appointment this past Friday. All went well. Isaac looked wonderful! His 6 month stats are as follows: Weight: 17lbs 14oz Length: 27 5/8 inches. He is eating 4, 8oz bottles per day and 2 servings of oatmeal, which he loves. We are really excited to start actual "foods" with him. The Pedi told us to start with veggies first and then move onto fruit. We have to go pick up some baby food, I literally CAN'T WAIT to start. I know he's gonna love it. The boy loves to eat. :)
Dan and I were joking around that we are going to have to work on Isaac's manners with the ladies. Whenever he likes something he does this loud, heavy breathing. It sounds creepy, but it's actually quite cute. Well, when our female Pediatrician was examining him, he was making his "heavy breathing" noises while smiling at her. Then to top it off, when she was checking his leg strength by having him "stand" in front of her, he took one look at her chest and layed one hand on each.....
Needless to say, heavy breathing and groping wasn't what we had in mind for our little son. ;) Oh....little boys!
Hope this Holiday Season finds you full of joy and surrounded by love. We are trying very hard to be joyful and to get in the Christmas spirit around here. Above all things, we remain thankful for the love of our Savior and our eyes remain fixed on Him. Christmas is after all, about Christ. We love you all and wish you were close enough to tell that to in person every day.
