Having dinner at Cafe Express
Being sweet for the camera
Little boy!
This was Dan's first time having Isaac in his carrier. It was awkward for Dan. :] Although Isaac looked like the boy(Randy) who couldn't put his arms down from "A Christmas Story", he loved it. :)
The tables next to us thought Isaac was so cute, naturally. ;) He would be all relaxed, and as soon as I held up the camera to take a picture he would flash the BIGGEST smile. It. Was. AWESOME.
Look at this cute little guy!
Isaac loved being able to see everything. He would look up over his shoulder every once in a while to make sure that daddy was still there.
Maddie doesn't like to look at the camera for pictures anymore, so we always get action shots these days.
Cute little family
There was all kind of fun stuff to look at. Like really tall, and really small, elves.
Then there were these guys...
There was a giant snow globe that kids got to have snowball fights in. Well not really snowballs.
Every year more and more people come
Of course SANTA made an appearance....
This was a bit of a disaster though. Not only did Santa lose his hair, beard and Santa hat during his rappel down the wall, he also got stuck right here for about 15 minutes. That was because said beard got "stuck" in his rope and rappelling equipment. :/ Good thing they kept the spotlight on him the ENTIRE time so we could see every last jerking and struggling motion he made to free himself. Cue the choir please....
AND THERE WAS AN AWESOME SNOWMAN....
We turned little boy around in his carrier and he went right to sleep.
YAY!
Then right as the clock struck 8pm, the beautiful tree was lit!
And then magic happened, it started snowing. :]
"Catching" snowflakes. So. Stinkin. Cute.
Little family, one tuckered out little boy. It was a wonderful night!!

I was scrolling down & looking at the pictures, then saw sleeping Callum & was confused for a minute! I was like, "That's not Isaac!!" I heard about Santa's little mishap. How awkward that they left the spotlight on him! Was that traumatic for the kids?! I'm glad Isaac enjoyed the night! :)
ReplyDeleteThat's so funny Amy! When Dan read over this, he wanted me to write under that picture of Calum that it was "Calum" and not Isaac. I told him, don't be silly! People can tell them apart!! :P
ReplyDeleteThankfully all of our kiddos are too young to even notice the Santa debacle that occured, but Dan joked that if there were any kids that were on the fence this year, that would have surely sealed the deal for them!
